Concept | Sand Dunes

As with most of my creative shoots with Nikita we tend to just as much for the adventure as we do the actual photos. This means Nikita was making a stunning bouquet of flowers to use in our photoshoot in my car right after we arrived to the sand dunes.

After what felt like a really long drive on Saskatchewan backroads we finally arrived at Great Sand Hills & were lucky enough to have this place almost entirely to ourselves.

As with most shoots from last year this one was no exception on wind & moody skies; by the end of this shoot & us exploring there was sand everywhere. Our clothes, faces, flowers, camera, & my car had a layer of sand which was totally worth it in my opinion. I'm always thankful for fellow creatives & being able to just create; these are my favourite kinds of photoshoots.

I'm a southern Alberta based photographer who has a passion for adventure. Weather its a trip to the badlands or the mountains I always have my camera in hand & sometimes I even remember to take the lens cap off before I try to take photo.
