In true photoshoot fashion with Nikita this was a last minute; Also in very typical of our last minute photoshoots I forgot a bunch of things I planned to bring to help bring this shoot to life. We ended up driving all the way out here, deciding to shoot some photos "just incase" then driving back into town to grab everything we forgot. This location is 20 minutes out of town so it made for a lot of back & forth but was worth every second of it!

It was a full moon which is what originally inspired me to do this last minute shoot. A full moon before Halloween & a friend who NAILS every outfit for every spooky shoot we do? Yes please. I knew her vibrant purple hair would contrast with the those warm fall colours & the all black witchy outfit added to that contrast. Most of the props were hers from her collection of witchy thing with a few from my own collection we really brought this witchy shoot to life.

I seem to have a habit of making her cold as most of our shoots are blue hour in the autumn or winter season; like this shoot we were loosing sun as the moon was coming up & the wind off the water was colder than we had anticipated.
