Dinosaur Provincial Park as the sun sets

There is something so magical about watching the suns last light illuminating the hoodoos in the badlands.

Those golden rays bring out the textures & colours in the hoodoos

I camped at Dinosaur Park for the first time since I was a kid this summer & not much can beat a hot dog dinner over the fire then a walk through the badlands as the sun goes down.

The badlands have been my backyard for the majority of my life. a quick drive out at any time is quite a luxury I don't take for granted.

From hikes before work or watching the sunrise afterwards I've always felt incredibly lucky to live close to this amazing landscape.

About Me

IMG_1545.jpg

I'm a southern Alberta based photographer who has a passion for adventure. Weather its a trip to the badlands or the mountains I always have my camera in hand & sometimes I even remember to take the lens cap off before I try to take photo.
