Downtown | Series

Downtown Brooks has always been a place I have seen beauty in; the many murals, the historic brick buildings, the flower boxes in store fronts & the many greenspaces. There is many iconic staples of Brooks in our Downtown region; the CPR Engineers House - the perfect venue for any event, The Brooks Hotel - with a world famous sandwich, The Steaming Cup - My personal favourite place for a Iced coffee & many boutiques like Ever + Wilde Boutique - perfect to treat yourself or for a last minute gift.

Like most city centers there is a lot that goes on like the farmers markets, Bullapolooza, music events, parades, community days, show + shines & of course all the shopping you could ever want to do. Despite all the amazing activities to partake in I have always enjoyed the quieter side of things; like a exploring evergreen park.

A stroll at golden hour is my favourite time to take in the sights downtown & we may even pop into a restaurant or two for a little bite to eat. I've spent many evenings walking around & snapping photos building this little collection of photos that show less hustle + bustle & more of the relaxing evening energy. Downtown also makes a perfect backdrop for photos weather its graduation, headshots, engagement or anything in between! Our many local photographers have used this area. I am always surprised at how unique each photo set I see from downtown is.
