There is something so otherworldly about the northern lights. Whether you've seen them multiple times or you are seeing them for the first time its one of those things you can't help feel like a kid on Christmas looking up at the lights in complete awe.

As with all aspects of life with the more you practice the better you get. That is the case with my last year of northern lights photos. The year has has more than one geomagnetic storm which results in the sky turning into a mosaic of colours. This has allowed me to take my time & really learn the tips & tricks of photographing the aurora borealis.

When comparing my photos this year to last year it is very obvious how far I have come with that I though it was time to do the second part in this photo series. Although I feel very lucky to have grown this much in the last four years I cannot wait to see what the next year of growth while aurora chasing brings me.

About Me

IMG_1545.jpg

I'm a southern Alberta based photographer who has a passion for adventure. Weather its a trip to the badlands or the mountains I always have my camera in hand & sometimes I even remember to take the lens cap off before I try to take photo.
