Engagement | K + S

This session quickly became one of my all time favourites. It has everything I love, mountains, larch trees, autumn colours, emerald lakes & an adventurous couple. Not much more a photographer can ask for & definitely worth the 2am wake up call.

Not only did we all have an early wake up call but we also had a 12km round trip hike to embark on. Originally we have planned to do one of my favourite hikes Chester Lake unfortunately the larches hadn't quite turned yet as the end of that hike is lower than most of the other Larch tree hikes. A last minute game location change with a little extra distance paid off.

This session was the perfect engagement shoot for this lovely couple as their wedding will also be in the Canadian Rockies & showcases their love as hiking in the mountains.

With a hike jam packed with picturesque views in very direction there is no shortage of backdrops like this little waterfall just off the main trail. Along with a variety of backdrops I have started adding in some landscape photos to these adventure sessions. You can print them & have them in your homes or just relieve the scenery on the day of your shoot.
