Maternity | Jess

Starting a family is a big life milestone for anyone & I think us photographers really value capturing those moments to look back on. I've wanted to add some more maternity photos to my portfolio specifically in the spring blooms. I ended up asking Jess if she would be a model for me & she agreed.

Me & Jess have been friends for a while & even coworker time to time as I second shoot weddings with her occasionally. We've done many location scouting adventure & even some branding photos for each other. To add maternity photos to the many we've taken together is so special. I feel forever grateful to be apart of this new chapter in her life as her family expands.

I had another bloom shoot a few days prior that had the most dreamy golden hour light, so naturally we aimed to do golden hour photos around the same time however that was not the luck we had. We ended up having to do photos a few hours earlier in the day just to have some good light. I'm so glad we decided to roll with the rainy day vibe & bring umbrellas if we needed them. We ended up creating some magical photos that to me remind me of the rainy coasts of Ireland & have became some of my favourite photos I've ever taken. I will definitely be adding this location into my suggested rotation.
