Aside from New York Jamaica has been my favourite place to visit. The people were amazing, the food was phenomenal & view were heavenly.

I didn't actually take too many photos in Jamaica as it was my first trip since Covid hit & I was soaking it all up. It felt good to be able to experience travel again & I really wanted to be present more so then take photos. However it feels virtually impossible for me to not take photos even it is a smaller amount than usual.

Although this wasn't my first time being in the ocean I did get to experience swimming in the ocean at night for the first time. Jamaica is the only place in the world where you can swim with bioluminescence creatures. Ever since I learned about bioluminescence sea creatures I have added seeing them in real life to my bucket list. I never thought I would get to swim with them & honestly didn't know that was even an option. Scroll to the bottom to see a photos of it! (I didn't take the photo but its super cool)

Its hard to pick a favourite thing about Jamaica but the jungles are definitely at the top of the list! From the river rafting to the gorgeous waterfalls & of course all the plants what's not to love? I find it really interesting that plants we sell in Canada, for sometimes thousands of dollars, grow wild & abundantly in tropical jungles.

As promised here is the photo of me & Blake swimming with the bioluminescent creatures in the ocean. Blake was even lucky enough to get stung by a jellyfish as were three other people. Im thankful I avoided getting stung but even with the risk its well worth it for the experience. You truly get to let your inner child out as you splash around in the water to get the best view of the creatures.
