Anyone who knows me knows I have loved New York for as long as I can remember & will happily go back any chance I get. Our most recent trip to The Big Apple was spent doing all the things we didn't have time for on our first trip. Truly the city that doesn't sleep, there is not enough time in the day to take in all this concrete jungle has to offer.
One of the things we were not able to do on our first trip was tour radio city. We luckily managed to get some tickets for a last minute tour & took in the history of the building, The Rockettes, the architecture & of course the amazing performers that have taken the stage. As a lover of comedy we had hoped we could have snuck into a comedy show there but unfortunately it was not in the cards for us this trip; we did however spend every night at the comedy clubs or watching plays on Broadway. Not all of the area's in radio city you are allowed to take photos of however I highly reccomend the tour & taking it all in.
My favourite part of NYC is probably all the pizza but a close second is all the amzing parks & green spaces mixed into the city with Central Park being the most iconic. A shady park after a long walk is just what you need on those hot summer days. While we do spend most of our time walking the city it is so much larger than you think or the maps make it seem. On this trip we seen Stranger Things on broadway & watched The Cursed Child at a magical theatre that made it seem like we were in the world of Harry Potter.
I find it hard to photograph NYC as a small town girlie, my lens never seems wide enough & there is so much beauty within the city. Its hard for me to balance the tourism while taking in the city & also capturing the photos I have dreamed of taking. Each trip has produced a completely different kind of photos & I've learned so much. I cannot wait for the next adventure & as we slowly knock off our New York Bucket List.

If you've made it this far thank you!! I have a fun bonus tip for any fellow NYC lover. In Time Square at midnight all the screens turn into an art instalation; it changes weekly(if im not mistake) & for about 1-2 minutes the enitre area is art instead of billboard ads. The moment I saw a fellow traveller see it I KNEW it was top prioirty on my bucket list. We seen it a couple times while there as we would walk back to our hotel after the comedy clubs & just happened too get into the square at the perfect time.
