The city that never sleeps

Anyone who knows me also knows that I have been infatuated with New York for as long as I can remember.

To finally be able to experience the big apple for myself is something I cannot even begin to put into words.

I feel beyond blessed to not only go to New York but to be able to experience as much of the city as I did.

From museums, to Central Park, Rockefeller to Grand Central Station & so many more iconic locations I feel like I was able to experience so much in my short time there. I was lucky enough to be a tourist & enjoy the many iconic landmarks.

Everything in New York seems to have a certain charm to it. Whether it's the hustle & bustle, the yellow cabs lining the streets, the stunning architecture or the little things like this orchid soaking up some sun in a little Korean restaurant there is beauty all around you.

I've never been a city person. I don't like large crowds of people or insane traffic but there is something about New York that really feels like home. I couldn't help but get a little lost & mesmerized in the city that never sleeps.

As much as I loved all the food in New York there is something so nostalgic about seeing an ice-cream truck. I cannot remember the last time I seen one & was beyond happy to see them everywhere. However the pizza was my favourite food while in the city.

We spent one day in Brooklyn & most of that day at the botanical gardens. If you don't know I am a crazy plant lady so any time I get a chance to spend time amongst all the amazing plants we can grow in our houses I take it & of course take way to many photos! The gardens is somethings I would highly recommend in any season! If you go in the spring you would get to see the cherry blossom trees in Bloom!

There is so many things I could say about New York but there would never be enough words to properly convey how much this experience meant to me. I cannot wait to go back & see what all seasons look like in this beautiful city.
