Having friends who are down for last minute photos at golden hour while playing in the mayday blooms are my favourite kind of people & that's exactly what Nikita is. She's always down for my last minute shenanigans.
Although originally aiming for that golden hour lighting our rainy spring day had other ideas. While we barely got rained on while shooting in the blooms the clouds quickly moved in turning that warm light into a moody dusk. Nikita was a trooper getting absolutely attacked by bugs. After a little photoshop you can't even tell there was hundreds of mosquitos around us!
Whenever I make new friends who are as supportive as Nikita I'm always so thankful. It's people like her who have really helped me progress as a photographer. It's a debt I can never repay.
