England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland

The rainy coast of Ireland stole my heart. As much as the bustling cities have so much history & charm I will always prefer the small town life. The coasts have all my favourite things: mountains, ocean & 50 shades of green. All the rainy days might get some people down but I've always loved the peacefulness & calm of a rainy day.

Although we didn't spend a lot of time in Scotland it felt so surreal to be in the homelands. Its really cool to see the family crest everywhere among all the other clans. I hope to explore more of my clans castles on the next visit to Scotland. Edinburgh is rich in history with the gothic architecture of the old town, Edinburgh Castle & so much more.

Spending the majority of time in England meant seeing a lot of historic monuments & world heritage sites like Bath. It's hard to pick a favourite location but as a Harry Potter fan I would have to choose York with Oxford as a close second. The cute York streets made you feel like you were stepping into Diagon Alley. There was so many locations we went to in the films I didn't even know about in Oxford.

I bought a 18-70mm lens specifically for this trip so I could have a bit more range for 'travel photography' without having to bring multiple lenses. It is a side of photography I just started to learn & experience & after many hours spent watching travel 'influencers' this lens was highly recommended. This was the perfect addition to my gear & has swiftly became one of my favourite & most used lenses perfect for both full frame & close up detail shots. I can't wait for the next adventure & see how I've grown in my skills.
