Lincoln's Birthday

Although this isn't Lincoln's first photoshoot it was almost his first birthday! So like any fur baby parent you want to document that! I know Ella has had her fair share of birthday photos.

Now the hard part how do you get a one year old puppy to sit still long enough to get some good photos? It's a trick question. You take him to the dog park & let him run. We let him play while we chatted & I of course was snapping some photos with a quick shutter speed to get those action shots.

Eventually He's got to tire out right? That's another trick question. Lincoln is full of what seems like endless energy.

Silly Photos

Naturally not all photos are instagram ready but when he looks this cute how can you not resist sharing all the photos!

Some of the best photos are the ones that aren't perfect. Lincoln is just living his best life & looking great doing it!

Treats do the trick

What better way to get that perfect photo than the promise of your favourite treat? Of course treats will do the trick & look how handsome he looks with his hair blowing in the wind & the sun shining down on him.

Not only did he get lots of treats but he also got to make some new friends at the dog park which did add a extra challenge to the photoshoot but I'm always up for a challenge.

After about half an hour I knew I had gotten enough photos to properly capture this puppy's first birthday! Even with the added distractions of other dogs to play with.
